"Brandon Intervention" receives Prism Award
Testimonials
VIP has received many compliments and testimonials from the families that we've worked with. Below is a small sampling of them.
Dear Debbie & Brandon,
There are not enough words to express my gratitude for what you two did for my son and my family. We were a family in crisis and needed guidance. Your care, compassion and concern for all of us was so genuine. Your connection with us was amazing. Debbie, as a mother that has gone through the pain with her own son, you touched me in a way that is indescribable. Brandon, having been in my son's situation yourself , your calming and caring personality brought peace to our family. I truly believe that if we had contacted someone other than you two, we would still be battling to get my son to a recovery facility. As soon as we met, I had a sense of calmness go through me. The moment you both walked into our house, I knew it was going to be okay. Any doubt that I had about my son accepting treatment went away. You two are TRULY amazing and down to earth people that we will never forget! I thank God everyday for sending you to us!
Thank you for going public with your story and for sharing your ability to help others around the world. Your knowledge and diligence taught us more than we ever knew about addiction. You are truly my guardians angels! Because of you, my son is recovering and for the first time in a long time, I see a bright future for him!
I love you both with all my heart!

"Dear Brandon, I have followed you on the Dr.Phil show from the very beginning to present. Having said that, little did I or my family know that one day we would have a son/grandson in the very same predicament. We personally want to commend you for the good place that you are in now. With knowing what we know from own experience, we know it has been a tough journey for you and your family as well. Your story has been so inspirational to us and we have hadthe opportunity to actually have counseling with your Mother on the telephone. Who would have ever thought? So we thank you both so much for sharing your stories and will continue to keep you all in our prayers. We also continue to pray that our son/grandson will have a happy ending as well, although we know we have a long way to go.
Thank you so much for your time and sharing!"

"Debra, It was one week ago today we spoke on the phone and you saved my daughters life. I can not find the words to express my feelings of gratitude. Thank you so much. You and Brandon will be forever in my prayers for blessings and the most joyous lives. You both are truly doing God's work finding and saving his lost sheep. God Bless you always. If you ever need any help day or night with anything 'I mean it' I will always be there for you. Love and Blessings for you always."

"I followed your son's story on Dr. Phil. As a Mother myself, my heart went out to you and felt your pain. My daughter was killed in 2008 (car accident) - so I am so pleased for you that your son survived and that he has used those experiences to help others."

"Hi Debbie and Brandon, I watched you both with Dr. Phil perform your magic on 9/22/10 with Nick and his family. Brandon, you are more amazing than ever! Everyday that goes by, I still think of you and everything you did for my family. Watching the show continues to give me hope. You both will always be my ANGELS. I hope this finds you well. I send my love and the best to you both. God bless you."

"Dear Debbie, I want to thank you and Brandon from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for us. The care, concern, and compassion that you showed from the very first phone call to following up after the intervention has been amazing. The constant contact and encouragement has meant the world to me. You were my lifeline to get my Son the help he so desperately needed. Your first hand knowledge about the disease of addiction was impressive to say the least. Brandon has the gift of connecting with young people and you have the gift of helping Mothers like me. You and your Son Brandon make an incredible team. You are our Angels. Keep up God’s good work. We will never forget your kindness and are forever grateful."

"Dear Debbie and Brandon, Please know how grateful our family is to have received your professional help for my brother. As you know, we as a family did not posses the tools necessary to effectively provide the support or roadmap he desperately needed to get onto the road toward recovery. Your ability to take an emotionally strained family, agonizing over the past and afraid of the future, and turn them into a group of people with purpose was impressive. Your knack with balancing sensitive family issues while treating people with dignity and respect is commendable. Your experience, organization, and passion made executing an effective intervention plan possible. Not only did our family leave the intervention feeling empowered that we can make a difference, but more importantly you were able to reach my brother and send him on his journey of recovery.
"I can honestly say that after working with you I felt, 'now there goes two people who are on fire to change the world for the better.' Thank you for recognizing your gifts and talents and using them to help others. We appreciate all that you have done for us."

"Dear Dr. Phil, After seeing Brandon on your show, my husband and I realized that someone actually understood what we were going through. We were a lost family. I knew when I saw your show, we had found answers, the right interventionists. There was an immediate connection through the television screen. Their family was close knit just like ours. Thank you for having them on the show. They have used their pain and struggle to help others, just like us.
"Debbie is the most intelligent, articulate, loving, compassionate and kind interventionist. Nobody could have gotten the job done that Debbie and Brandon did with our son. This team of interventionists are angels and have taken their suffering to the field to touch other's lives. Brandon understands the pain of an addict and Debbie understands the pain of a mother/parent. These two truly saved my son's life. They didn't given up and it took 14 straight hours. We would not give up hope and neither did they. I witnessed a true miracle."
